NBBA Strength & Speed Program

Session Information:

Elementary Program:
(Ages 7-11)

Middle School Program:
(Ages 12-14)

High School Program:
(Ages 15+)

The elementary program will focus on developing proper movement patterns and techniques in a fun and dynamic training setting. Athletes will improve their athleticism through body weight movements, plyometrics, speed, and agility training. The middle school program will build on the elementary program and begin to include resistance training. By incorporating dynamic and functional movements, this program will help athletes become more efficient on the basketball court. In addition to resistance training, we will work on footwork and speed training. The high school program will help prepare athletes for college athletics by incorporating a high level strength and conditioning program. The program includes functional strength training, sprint mechanics, multi directional sprint mechanics, and plyometrics to increase the athlete's strength and athleticism.

For Boys & Girls Ages 7 and Up


The NBBA Strength and Speed program provides athletes the essential steps to become better athletes through sport specific strength and conditioning. Programs will focus on increasing the athletes overall strength, speed and agility. By incorporating strength movements, plyometrics and conditioning drills, athletes will move more efficiently and effectively on the basketball court.

After School Sessions:
  • Session 1: 4:00 - 5:00 pm
  • Session 2: 5:00 - 6:00 pm

About Our Trainers

Audie Balue
Director of Strength & Conditioning

Growing up in Colorado, Audie played lacrosse, ran cross-country and swam at Monarch High School. She lettered all four years on varsity in all three sports. After graduating from Monarch, she attended Boise State University for her undergrad and ran cross-country and track, while also playing club lacrosse. Audie graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and Fitness Evaluation with a Minor in Psychology. She served as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Boise State Men's Club Lacrosse team during her senior year.


Upon graduation from Boise State, Audie moved to Savannah, Georgia to complete her Masters of Science in Sports Medicine with an emphasis in Strength and Conditioning from Armstrong State University. She worked as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Savannah College of Art and Design's (SCAD) Men's Lacrosse team, as well as the Assistant Strength Coach at Anderson Cohen Weight Lifting. At Anderson Cohen, she also assisted with the Armstrong State University's Women's Volleyball team.


After graduating from Armstrong State, she moved to San Mateo, CA to intern at Sparta Science, a top tier strength and conditioning facility for high school, college and professional athletes. During her time there she worked with Santa Clara University's Women's Volleyball team. From Sparta, she was hired to work with Dominican University. She also worked as a Master Trainer at 24 Hour Fitness in Larkspur. In March of 2017 she became an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at The Academy of Art University.


Audie joined North Bay Basketball Academy as the Director of the Strength and Speed program in 2015. She also serves as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for The Academy of Art University. The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) recognizes her as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).


Credentials:

  • Masters of Science in Sports Medicine
  • Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Fitness Evaluation
  • CPR/AED

Cost, Registration, & Payment

COST: $250 for 10 workouts ($25.00 per workout) - Must be used within 3 months

2. PAY: The registration process will also lead you through the payment options.
  • FULL PAYMENT: You can pay in full via the TeamSnap system.
  • PAYMENT PLAN: If a payment plan option is available, you can submit your deposit via the TeamSnap system. A member of the NBBA staff will contact you within 21 days to set up the remaining payments.
